DETAILS:
A three month mentorship.
I. In month one you gain clarty direction and focus through the eyes of your client. You practice an exercise and learn about other methods of facilitating from your peers.
II. In month two you discover, develop and incubate ideas while designing dynamic, impactful offerings for your clients. You be guided to create a program/workshop/session of your own and create a supervised personal case study.
III. In month three you are enrolled in a practicum and present your service for a certificate. You move outward into the community among either existing clients or volunteers to integrate your idea with refinement based on feedback.

THE PARABLE OF A PAINTING
(A Story About Worth)
A dying great-grandmother had almost nothing to leave her great-granddaughter, Rose, but an old junk-filled attic. From her bed, she expressed her last wishes and instructed Rose to go through the pile in the attic and retrieve an old painting wrapped in cloth.
Confused, the young girl brought the dusty painting to her bedside and the old woman told her that this painting would provide her with the life she deserves.
“But before I give it to you,” she paused, “take it to the thrift store and tell them I want to sell it and see how much they offer you.”
Rose went to the thrift store, returned to her great-grandmother and said, “They offered me $10 because they said it isn’t well painted and the frame is old.”
The great-grandmother then said, “Now, take it to an appraiser.” The great-granddaughter went to an appraiser, returned to her great-grandmother, and said, ”The appraiser offered me $10,000 because it’s a lovely antique but cannot be verified.”
The great-grandmother finally requested her great-granddaughter to go to the most famous auction house in the world and show them the painting. The daughter then took it to Sotheby’s in New York, who authenticated the artwork, took pictures of it, and posted it for auction online. The girl returned to her great-grandmother’s bedside and reported, “You’ll never believe this! The auction house listed it for 1 million and the current bid is now at over 60 million dollars…”
The great-grandmother smiled, “My darling girl, not everyone will know your worth. There is no need to change or prove who you are or expect others to be different. Just keep true to yourself and you’ll discover where you are meant to be. The right people and places will see your value and treat you as such. Just as I believed in the value of that painting, I believe in you. But remember, it is you who must believe in yourself.”
With that, Blanche Monet, descendant of Claude Monet, passed.
*In 2019 Sotheby’s announced that it took just eight minutes for six bidders to close the auction on Claude Monet’s Haystacks Impressionist Painting, ‘MEULES’ for $110.7 million dollars. It is one of eight.

Experienced with inconsistent earnings to $9600 earned in one weekend
Experienced yoga teacher and holistic practitioner with 5 clients, sporadically on the calendar. She had been coaching online and doing mind-body work for a while without any consistent income—or enough to contribute much to her household, which was bothering her. In mentorship, we streamlined her work, gained more predictable income with upcoming sessions through our packaging and pricing structure, and sold an online series. She put in about 20-30 hours of administrative work, posted on social media, marketed to existing clients, and yielded $9600 in income within one weekend of exposure that month.
New yoga teacher has $1800 impact in one month
A yoga teacher with 0 existing private clients and two classes per week. In our mentorship, we added three full-time clients and pitched and presold one workshop to the yoga studio. About 30 hours over the month went into client acquisition, sessions, and interrelated work, yielding $1800 earned in the first month putting herself “out there” using the regenerative growth strategy.
A calm and mindful $2200 made in less than three months
A newly graduated reiki practitioner and psychotherapist who wanted to try reiki-only sessions before integrating the modality into her private practice. While quite experienced as a therapist, she was concerned that embracing holistic wellness still carried a stigma of “alternative” in academia. Furthermore, I like this case study because after working for almost 30 years, she is essentially ‘new’ in this service; it’s a good reminder that you can come right out of training and still earn income with ease. This client wanted to take her offering a little slower, so she started with clients at a very low price point for the second four weeks and we simultaneously created a weekend workshop where she profited more per time than she ever had before in traditional psychotherapy. The next steps focus on integrating the work and positioning a new offering over the coming months which will likely yield 4x of her current salary without insurance billing.
I felt this discomfort and the call to take the next step forward.
READY TO BE READY
I know that committing to yourself and receiving mentorship for that thing in the bottom of your heart can feel overwhelming. There's a summoning—beyond knowing—that stirs you on a Soul level.
You have a tug to serve others and you are continually shown, by choice or by circumstance, that all things ultimately facilitate the emergence of your true nature.
Alignment doesn’t always appear when one is ‘ready’. Great nature works on the frequency of seasons, rhythm, and vibration—not time. So when obstacles, objections, and avoidance appear, I use a quick tool to transform my resistance in the form of a mantra:
“I am ready to be ready.”
This phrase gives me the courage to choose myself; to take a moment before jumping but not long enough for self-sacrificial procrastination.
This reframe is a teaching and facilitating concept we use in the Greenhouse mentorship among other tools for personal and professional development. Whether scaling or starting new or over, mentorship supports your authentic growth, despite discomfort.
Sometimes it just takes a deep breath to take the next step.
